Here’s the latest in our We Write That series with some interesting risks from our tech, media, P&C and Pro teams.

Virtual reality stress relief

Originally this virtual reality app was created to support terminally ill WWII veterans who were unable to travel to see their memorials in Washington. Roll on a few years, and this app has been developed to help treat stress and anxiety.

CFC covers their media liability (both IP and defamation), E&O and cyber, including cyber crime.

Celebrity canines

Even the furriest mini-series producers and influencers need insurance. This popular pooch creates regular videos for his avid fan club and even sells tiny ramps for dogs unable to jump on and off sofas.

We cover the media liability should a claim arise out of his videos. We also provide general liability and product liability for the dog ramps!

Santa’s grotto

Tis the season! Christmas markets are popping up everywhere, so what could be more important that making sure everything goes along smoothly, without a hitch from Santa’s and his grotto?

Recently we provided public liability, employee liability and event contingency cover for a local Christmas market which included craft stalls, food and drink stalls, a mini fun fair and an ice rink.

Horsing around

It may appear niche for some, but there’s huge demand for an online multiplayer role-playing horse-themed game. Players are invited to go on magical adventures, exploring, fighting enemies and training their equine beasts!

We offer a range of insurance lines to protect this risk - E&O, professional indemnity, IP infringement, defamation coverage, liability for user generated content, cyber and general liability.

Sheep herding training

Calling all border colliers (and owners who want to train them). Another dog-shaped risk that we write is teaching dogs to herd sheep. This training course not only trains the dogs, but also equips the owners with the necessary skills to keep the dog’s eyes on the sheep-prize.

Our professional liability team cover this risk with E&O and professional indemnity policies.
