Judged by a panel of experts, we’re proud to take home two trophies from the prestigious Insurance Insider Honours 2024.
Our transaction liability team took home Underwriting Innovation of the Year, thanks to our secondaries transaction insurance product. Private equity funds are using secondary transactions to keep hold of a valuable company, while giving investors the opportunity to exit and bring in new investment. With these deals previously uninsured, our new product gives investment banks a first-class de-risking solution, empowering them with a simplified deal process and the ability to exit without worrying about future claims. This is just one step in our continued journey to respond to changing market dynamics and pioneer new products for our M&A clients.
For his significant contribution to the industry, our very own Rob Page, North American Management Liability Team Leader, was named Young Underwriter of the Year. Rob is playing an important role in pushing management liability underwriting forwards, launching a first-of-its-kind online portal for the product line in Canada, designing new forms of cover and developing an in-house proprietary app to deliver customer care and proactive services. Rob’s career continues to go from strength to strength, and we can’t wait to see what he innovates next.
