On 3 April, CFC will introduce policy encryption for its new and renewing cyber insurance policies. This is a market-first and we're proud to be leading the way.

Policy encryption provides an additional layer of security for our insureds and is another critical step in keeping businesses safe from cyber threats. In short, this ensures that should a customer’s policy documents fall into the wrong hands, they can’t be used as leverage in an extortion attempt.

Insureds will be able to access their policy via a password, or decryption key, found within our award-winning mobile app, Response. Brokers will be given the policy decryption key via email when the policy is bound.

To learn more about this exciting new capability we encourage you to check out our FAQ doc, or watch our live demo where we'll walk through what will change and how it will work.
