In the 90’s we were one of the first companies in the world to sell cyber insurance policies online. Our name back then was ClickForCover.com. In those days, insurtechs were called dot.coms! In the 20 years since, we've changed our name and expanded our business, but technology remains at the heart of everything we do.
Louise O’Shea joined CFC as Group CEO in 2024. She is passionate about delivering innovative solutions that drive customer-centric growth and position CFC as an industry leader in innovation, while creating a great environment for its people. Louise is also a member of the Board of Directors.
Louise has over 15 years’ experience working in senior leadership positions across the insurance industry, and was an independent non-executive director for CFC from 2021 to 2023. She joined CFC from Confused.com, the leading UK insurance financial services comparison site, where she was CEO for over five years. Prior roles include Head of International Business Development and Head of Investor Relations at Admiral Group, a FTSE 100 personal lines insurance group.
Louise holds a History master’s degree from the University of Edinburgh, as well as being a qualified Pension Trustee and Chartered Accountant.
Michael Grist joined CFC as Chief Financial Officer in 2010 and leads the strategic planning of the organisation’s financial activities. Over the past 15 years, he has played a key role in CFC’s organic growth and its expansion into new markets and product lines. Michael is also a member of the CFC Board of Directors.
Michael has over 20 years’ experience working in senior commercial finance roles for FTSE 100, alternative investment market listed companies and private equity backed businesses. He joined CFC from THB Group, an insurance and reinsurance broking firm, where he was Head of Group Planning. Prior roles include Group Operations Manager at Invensys.
Michael holds a History degree from the University of Edinburgh, and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.
Andrew Holmes was appointed as Group Capacity Director in 2025, with a focus on strengthening and expanding CFC’s carrier base, as well as diversifying the Group’s syndicate capital. Andrew has over 20 years’ experience at CFC as Chief Underwriting Officer, during which he has acquired excellent knowledge and a deep understanding of CFC’s business model, the markets in which it operates and its close partners across the industry.
He first joined CFC in 2001 from Argenta Syndicate Management, a Lloyds of London syndicate, where he was Liability Underwriter. Prior roles include Liability Underwriter at Marlborough Underwriting Agency.
Andrew holds an English Literature degree from University College London.
Daniel Trueman joined CFC as Chief Underwriting Officer in 2024 and leads the organisation’s development and implementation of underwriting policies, guidelines and standards. Daniel is also a member of the CFC Board of Directors.
Daniel has over 20 years’ experience working in senior underwriting and innovation roles across the insurance industry. He joined CFC from Axis, where he was Global Head of Cyber and Technology and a member of their Global Operating Committee. Under his leadership, the team became a significant player in cyber underwriting globally. Prior roles include Chief Innovation Officer at Novae, a Lloyds of London syndicate and specialist reinsurer that was later acquired by Axis, and Active Underwriter for enterprise risk at Tokio Marine Kiln.
Daniel holds a degree from the University of Durham. He is a well-established figure in the global insurance and cyber industry, having been listed among Insurance Business’s Global 100 in 2023.
Jacqueline Sinclair joined CFC as Compliance Director in 2016 and leads the organisation’s compliance and governance strategy. Her remit includes regulatory affairs, internal audit, risk management, company secretary and general legal. Jacqueline played a pivotal role in establishing CFC’s international office network, securing more than 115 global trading licenses and establishing CFC as a US admitted insurer licensed in all 50 states.
Jacqueline moved to London in 2012 and has worked in various regulatory affairs and compliance roles across the insurance industry. She joined CFC from Pioneer Underwriters, where she was Compliance Manager. Prior roles include International Regulatory Affairs Manager at Lloyds of London and Lawyer at the Australian Securities and Investments Commission.
An Australian qualified solicitor, Jacqueline holds a Law degree from the University of Melbourne, and an international diplomacy master’s degree from SOAS University of London. She was named Woman to Watch by Business Insurance in 2023.
Kathryn Herrington joined CFC as Chief People Officer in 2024 and is responsible for leading our human resources and talent functions. She is passionate about the role HR can play in helping drive organizational outcomes through an effective talent strategy, great leadership development and a focus on culture.
Kathryn has over 25 years’ experience building high performing teams in financial services and technology. She joined CFC from SUSE, a multinational open-source software company, where she was Chief People Officer for two years. Prior roles include Chief Administrative Officer at CLS Group, a global financial market infrastructure, and SVP, Head of HR and Global Markets, at HSBC.
Kathryn holds an Economics and Social History degree from the University of Bristol.
Matthew Glenville joined CFC as Group Chief Operating Officer in 2025 and is responsible for streamlining business operations and strengthening connectivity between CFC’s underwriting, technology and business operations teams. He is passionate about driving organisations to excel and helping companies achieve their full potential.
Matthew has 20 years’ experience delivering value creation for high-growth, tech-led businesses across multiple industry sectors, ranging from financial markets and tech to law and private equity. He joined CFC from DWF Law, a global law firm, where he was Group COO for just over two years. Prior roles include COO and CTO of ICE Clear Europe, the world’s most complex clearing house for financial derivatives. He also built ICE Benchmark Administration from a start-up to become the world’s most trusted financial benchmark provider.
Matthew holds a Physics and Philosophy masters from Oxford University.
Matt Taylor was appointed as Chief Performance Officer at CFC in 2021 and leads the organization’s strategy for corporate performance measuring the success of business initiatives. He also oversaw the launch of CFC’s Syndicate 1988, making CFC one of the first independent MGAs of scale to establish a Lloyd’s syndicate. Matt is also a member of the CFC Board of Directors.
Matt joined CFC in 2018 as Head of Emerging Risk, where he was responsible for developing CFC’s emerging risk portfolio. Matt has over 20 years’ experience working in senior risk and underwriting roles across the insurance industry. He joined CFC from Montpelier at Lloyd’s of London, where he was Active Underwriter and Head of Non-Marine. Prior roles include Head of Emerging Risk at Howden Group, a specialist global insurance group.
Matt is a qualified actuary and Active Underwriter of Syndicate 1988.
Natasha Lee joined CFC as Chief of Staff in 2024 and leads group strategy and transformation activities. She also advises CEO Louise O’Shea and the broader executive committee on critical projects across CFC’s global operations. Natasha is passionate about building great teams, resilient organisations and strong, inclusive culture.
Natasha has over 15 years’ experience advising c-suite executives on business strategy, analysis and transformation across financial services, consumer business and technology. She joined CFC from Terra Firma Capital partners, a UK-based private equity firm, where she was Chief of Staff to the CEO, providing support across central and portfolio businesses. Prior roles include Chief of Staff to the CEO at Tech Nation, a technology growth platform, and Chief of Staff to the Group Executive Vice Chairman at Schroders plc.
Natasha holds a Law degree from Kings College, London, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst® Charterholder.
Richard joined CFC’s Board of Directors as Non-Executive Chairman in 2022.
Richard has a long and distinguished career in insurance and the London market, serving as Chief Executive Officer of Lloyd’s of London from 2006 until 2013, where he helped transform the organization and introduce digitization across many of its processes. Dr Ward has also served as Senior Independent Non-Executive Director at Direct Line Group since 2016. Prior roles include Non-Executive Chairman at Brit Insurance, chairing up the syndicate through its subsequent scale to Fairfax, and Group Executive and Executive Chairman of Ardonagh Specialty.
Richard holds a PhD in Physical Chemistry from the University of Exeter.
Bryan Joseph joined CFC’s Board of Directors as independent Non-Executive Director in 2024.
Bryan has over 40 years’ experience in senior actuarial roles across the insurance and reinsurance industry internationally. He is currently a partner with Vario Partners LLP, a Non-Executive Director of Lancashire Holdings Limited and its Managing Agency Lancashire Syndicates Limited, and the Senior Independent Director and Chair of Risk committee at Sabre Insurance Group. Prior roles include Non-Executive Director at AXA XL and Partner at PwC.
Bryan is a qualified actuary.
Oliver Corbett joined CFC’s Board of Directors as independent Non-Executive Director in 2024.
Oliver has 20 years’ experience working as both a Non-Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer for public and private equity backed businesses. He is a founder and strategic advisor at McGill and Partners, a boutique specialist insurance and reinsurance broker. He is also currently Non-Executive Director at both HSBC UK and Allianz UK. Prior roles include Chief Financial Officer at Howden Group, and Non-Executive Director at Close Brothers, a UK banking group.
